unmaintained blog is unmaintained (and stories about school spirit).

Hello. I’ve been planning to shift blogs for such periods of time—but I just can’t leave my Google account behind, nor delete this blog. Plus, there are many memories I’ve written for the past four years—some are good, while others are bittersweet (refer to my so-called emotive posts, hahaha).
Meanwhile, I’m currently working on a little project that has something to do with school spirit. Collegiate basketball is currently in heat this season, and I’ve always been proud to say that I’m a supporter of the Growling Tigers. Being an alumna of a school that bleeds black and gold (and sometimes, shows off some black and gold stripes), I’m not afraid to cheer out loud, “GO, USTe!”
Since 2007, I’ve always been an avid supporter of their games. Win or lose, I feel proud for these guys since what really matters here is how they enjoyed the game. ‘Ika nga, “kailangan may pride at puso sa paglalaro.” Yet, the UAAP tournament isn’t just about men’s basketball; there are a lot of sporting events such as volleyball, chess, badminton, swimming, and others. For that, I can say that school spirit isn’t limited to one game alone; it should also represent the identity of the school.
Oh, well. Here’s my rendition of the UST Growling Tigers, which can be also viewed in my doodle blog by clicking the photo.
Well, this is all I can say for the moment. Have a good night, guys. :)
P.S. For those who are supporting the UST Growling Tigers men's basketball team, they have already won six out of seven games as of August 19. Their next game will be on Thursday, August 23, 4pm—and they'll be fighting against FEU Tamaraws for the second time this season.
