the start of June.

June marks the end of summer, signaling the start of rainy days. Some say it’s a good sign, since we have experienced three and a half months of scorching heat. But others say it’s a bad thing, since we’re going to miss the summer fun—be it on the beach or at the comforts of the home.
First of all, I’m gonna share my summer experience. I may have spent the whole season cooped up in the comforts of my home; but it’s a good thing I spent with my family. Most of the time, I’m in front of the computer—either checking out random sites (ranging from blogs to game sites) or tweeting away my super-random thoughts—but there are also times that I do something else like doodling, watching TV, listening to the music, and even playing a SpongeBob SquarePants game on the Nintendo DS.
Let’s talk about TV shows. These days, I’m addicted to watching anime, particularly Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, Romeo × Juliet, Maid-sama!, and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. I also watch cartoons like The Fairly OddParents, SpongeBob SquarePants, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Phineas and Ferb, and at some point, Family Guy and The Simpsons. But there are also times that I watch “normal” TV shows like American Idol (Lee DeWyze won the title for this season), Glee (I like how the actors perform covers from the likes of today’s popular singers—not to mention, humour coming out from some scenes!), and Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash of 2010 (speaking of which, I don’t really know if I’m going to root for Tricia or not—but I have already sealed the deal to root for a certain teen-ternational housemate named Ryan).
On the side of underground works, I have created a lot of artwork, and I’m now in the process of finding references for my next work. Maybe I didn’t do Willy Wonka, but I don’t mind anyway. In fact, I have so many ideas waiting for me to execute them in a drawing—and yet, I sometimes forget to do so. Not to mention, I’m working on a fictional high school story—it just so happened that I’m still thinking about what to write on the next chapter. HAHAHA.
Well, anyway. School days will zip around in a week’s time, and I still haven’t packed in the anticipation to meet my so-called classmates and friends again. But for some reason, I wished I was at school, working on my plates. In fact, being in school is so much better than being cooped up in my room all day long. Plus, I’m going to have a digital SLR camera—which is actually a requirement for my photography class.
Okay…this ends for tonight. Until then, my amigos. :D
P.S. I’m itching to do so many underground artworks—but then again, I have to start doing my plates as school rolls around. Not to mention, I seriously wanted to change the layout! :o
P.S.S. I kind of feel sorry for abandoning my blog—I got so hooked on Twitter these days. Come to think of it—I promised myself to make a statement of fangirling—yet, I ended up sharing my summer experience. HAHAHA! :D
