freshman memories revisited.

Hahaha. Wala lang. Bakit sa tuwing malapit na ang pasukan, naaalala ko ang mga memories noong freshman ako?
Hmmm…that makes sense. A new semester means a new set of pals—most likely, those irregular mates and my P.E. classmates. And every time I think about it, my freshman memories always cross my mind. I know, this was so last year, but I can’t stop telling myself that these days were the best.
Being part of block AD-2 (and still physically there for two years) has been a blessing for me, but making friends outside of the block made my oh-so-boring college life as colorful as a rainbow. And, if I’m not mistaken, it all started with my arnis buddies during the first semester of my freshman year. At that time, a lot of CFAD students were enrolled at that class, so we got to have a lot of things in common. Not to mention, my blockies Vanessa, Bea, and Karla were also my P.E.-mates then.
Then, there’s my orgmates. Just hanging out with them at the orgroom makes my day brighter than the sun. We may be of different backgrounds, but they’re always there for me when I needed help with plates (particularly on anatomy).
Next on the list are my irregular classmates. My CTec and DC2 buddy Bern was my first pal I had for this list, but it was my lettering matey (and her blockmate) Giles whom I got connected with. It just so happened that the latter and I shared a lot of stories about anything under the sun, so that’s why we were mistaken as an item. Later on, second semester rolled around, and there’s my theo2 pal Kaye. Since we had common interests, I got to connect with her. Not to mention, being with them on Friday mornings add much spice, so I’ll show you why I think so:

1st semester: Lettering was our first class, and Giles was my classmate. There’s an instance when he showed up on a Thursday morning for his P.E. class—and it dawned to me that Bernie mentioned something about Thursdays as their free day during that semester (kaya nga, kinuha niya 'yung CTec class namin sa hapon).
2nd semester: Theo2 was our first class, and Kaye was my classmate. Not to mention, there were also times that she and I see each other every morning because most of her classes start at 7am. And come to think of it, I even got to talk to Giles whenever we see each other sometimes—usually on a Monday. But he’s not my classmate anymore at that time—so there’s a reason why I kind of miss his quirks sometimes (until now).

There were also unexpected guests, too. Before the end of the first semester, I got to reconnect with my high school clubmate Erik. Back then, he was an advertising arts senior, so he gave me some tidbits on how to survive college life. Not to mention, we shared a lot of stories while I was doing my FDr final plate (and my blockies doing their DC1 final plates). Then, there’s Loui from AD-7. Wala lang. Memories nga naman, o.
Oh, well. I guess this blog entry will end for now. Tomorrow is the start of second semester, school year 2009-2010. All my classes will start in the morning, so I guess I’ll be back at waking up at 4am. Not to mention, I don’t have night classes, so I’m pretty sure a lot of parents will approve of that.
Okay. Gotta go for now! See you guys and gals tomorrow. :D
