ber-months, wishlists, missing someone, etc.

Okay. I feel the cold breeze outside, caressing my face. I also hear Christmas carols everywhere. Ber-months na nga, mga doods!
Speaking of Ber-months, these are aptly called as such because they all end with the suffix -ber. These are the following: September, October, November, and December. (I hope you get the idea.) And because it’s already Ber-months, we’re counting down the days before Jesus was born. Yay, Christmas!
Let’s talk about Christmas. It’s already 53 days before Christmas, and I would love to make a wishlist. Here’s what I want:
a laptop – this is for emergency purposes. HAHAHA. And I want it in pink. Not to mention, I prefer a laptop with large memory. :D
a DSLR camera – actually, it’s a requirement for next year’s photography class, so why not? Canon or Nikon can do.
a handy-dandy digital camera – this is for emergency purposes, when I don’t have a DSLR in handy. LOL’s!
a Photoshop CS software – I desperately want to replace my super-duper old Photoshop 5.5 software. Not to mention, I’ll be needing this for my future plates, especially those which are to be rendered through this software.
an iPod Mini – preferably with radio features. I just love listening to the music. Orange, maybe?
a lomographic camera – I would love to have this one for a hobby. Don’t ask why.
a pair of plain white or cream Chuck Taylor shoes – this is for me to doodle and paint it. Customization rules, baby!
a cartoon hood jacket – since I love doodles and watching cartoons, I would like to have that.
Any others? HAHAHA. I couldn’t think of something else for the moment.

Do you know the feeling of missing someone?
Well, I do.
It’s been months since I last saw him in campus. Not to mention, it’s also been months since I last sent him a text message. I don’t know what happened to him, but I still hope he’s doing fine. I even asked my pals about him—and unfortunately, he transferred to another school. I guess he didn’t like it here, eh? HAHAHA. Peace tayo, doods!
Anyways, he was my classmate in a certain subject when I was a freshman. I barely noticed him then, but I even got to know him one day—when our class had to go to the chapel. Back then, I thought he was tagging along with us—only to find out that he WAS my classmate. He happened to be a sophomore then—not to mention, an irregular classmate of mine.
He may not be considered a model student (because he barely shows up in our class although he submits uno-worthy plates—LOL’s!), but what I liked about him is that he has a sense of humor. There was even one time when I wrote a thank-you line under his rendition of drawing by shading (I asked for a mini-tutorial about this!), and upon seeing it, he said, “You’re welcome!” and drew this:
Walang paa. This is one of his jokes he drew on my sketchie. See how humorous he is?
HAHAHA. Sorry if I don’t have a clearer version of this one. The original sketch got wrecked by Ondoy’s flood. But the good thing here is I took a picture of this to preserve such happy memory as this (duh, of course!).
Okay, let’s go back. There was also one time when he showed a Bleach fan art from his phone (which, according to him, was lifted from DeviantArt). I thought it was from Death Note. HAHAHA. Obviously, I didn’t know some tidbits about the former until I got to watch it. Yes, he’s one of the main reasons why I tried watching Bleach and loved every episode of it. Too bad I stopped at episode 90—not to mention, there are a lot of filler episodes there. It’s a clear indication that I should read the manga version, as what my org-friends said.
He may have done a lot of crazy things when at school. He may sometimes be the kind of person who prefers spelling happy as hapy when it comes to text messages. But the best thing about him is that he gives me tips on how to look at the bright side. I wouldn’t forget the time when I went to school to find out that I don’t have anatomy2 class—and since he showed up that morning, I got to have a small talk with him. He even told me to go to my class…and await a few surprises. (Grabe, ang kulit kaya!) There was even a time when I mentioned a certain professor to him, and before I suppress myself to saying bad things about the former, the latter stopped me by saying “Tama na, baka ma-karma ka pa.” I even liked him for that! :D
So, I guess my story about missing someone ends today. If you want to know who I am talking about, please DON'T bother to ask me. But there’s something I want to share to you from my Multiply site before I call it a day—which happened to be a poem dedicated for him. Here goes!

Starting From Scratch
[by CloudyLove, 01.23.09]

We’re back to where we started—
Two strangers sitting side by side on a bench
We have nothing to talk about,
Nothing to think about…
We’re just staring blankly at each other
Not knowing what we could do.

We may be friends then
Yet, you seem to forget about me—
All those laughter and tears we shared…
It just blew away like the wind.

I guess we have to start from scratch—
again.
