the start of semestral break.

If you are part of my block, you’ll agree with me. But if you had your final exams on a Saturday, you’re going to enjoy it starting tomorrow.
Friday, October 23, 2009 was my last day of the first semester. It was also the last day to see my classmates and pals in school. In order to make up for it, I’ll try to contact them through text or any social networking medium (these days, I prefer Facebook or DeviantArt). Still, it’s different to see them in person and talk about anything under the sun. Which reminds me…I’m going to miss hanging out with my fellow orgmates/orgroomies, especially during break times. Not to mention, I have developed a habit to go to pav 1 every Tuesday morning to see Sam and Ivan doing their landscape plates, together with their classmates. That’ll change if second semester rolls around.
Speaking of the “last” times, the last day I got to be with my social dance mateys was October 15, 2009. We had our last dance, and got a grade of one. It was all credits to my groupmates Mako, Jec, Delle, Royce, Bry, JR, and Pammy. We also don’t have to forget our mentor, Ma’am Apolonia, and of course, the Lord. Here’s our group picture after our performance:
Situated here in this picture are the following people: (clockwise) Royce, Bryan, Jessica, Delle, Paola, Mako, Pamela, and me. At the back are Ma’am Apolonia and JR, a.k.a. Fernando Jose.
Another “last time” story for this semester is the time I got to talk my heart out to my fellow orgmate Giliane. She’s a freshman, and the only time I could see her is every Tuesday before my 10am class. I didn’t take any pictures of the two of us together, especially when we last saw each other last October 13, but there’s a proof in this blog that I liked her quirks. It’s not just about her being an otaku, but…here it goes!
No, I’m not kidding. It’s a unique sharpener. Love the details!
There are still more “last time” stories I wanted to share, but I guess I’ll save them for later. Have a happy vacation!
Lesson learned: If you go on a meeting at somebody’s house and one of them is about to make his/her way home, and if you wish to go home as early as that, then you should do so with him/her. Don’t make a fuss about going home and not having a buddy with you just because he/she already went home. (Yeah. That was last Thursday.)
