having loads of fun is equal to happiness [and other stories].
Speaking of happiness, I attended track and field class this morning, and being with my classmates has never been that exciting—although we were all very tired from three laps of jogging and walking around the grandstand. Really.
It all started when we were assigned to divide into groups for our baton-passing activity. Since Nixie, Jin, Andie (Nixie and Jin’s blockie), Marione, and I were in need of male members, I invited former fitness matey Nico, his blockie Khervin, and commerce sophomore Dan Ray. And later on, Kat (commerce freshman) and Jiann (sports science freshman) joined us. Being with them was such a blast, especially when we executed our activity. (I even channeled Dora the Explorer after we successfully performed it. LOL’s!)
After our class, Nixie, Kat, Dan, and I hung out at the food stand by the gym and shared stories over a bun of foot-long cheesedog (while Jin was with her buds from the faculty of engineering). Our stories ranged from Ninja Assassin (Korean star Rain’s newest movie), to the Twilight saga (not to mention, its spoofies! Anyone heard of Edward Cullen-Jacob Black pairings and pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao starring as Edward? Click here.), and UAAP men’s basketball stars (commerce students are most likely to have them as classmates. But would you believe that Season 72 MVP Dylan Ababou was my schoolmate?).
By the time I went home, I floated all the way to doing my plates. As of now, I have finished my ad design 2 and gra2 plates, and both of them are to be submitted tomorrow. Whoa—what a day.
Well…anyways. Today, in the history of my college life, I’ve never been this happy since the first day of second semester—when I got to see my pals again (not to mention, the 2ad-2 block). Same thing with other events, ranging from having such long conversations with my pals (particularly with my former high school clubmate Erik, my former irregular classmates Giles and Kaye, 2ad-7 pal Loui…just to name a few), to hanging out with arnis buds (same thing with my other P.E. mates), attending my org’s general assembly (not to mention, meeting Christian San Jose in person), and even staying in the orgroom during breaks (it’s much better when my orgroom pals are there). Because of these little reminders, I always think I was having the time of my life, which is a good thing.
That’s all for today! Stay cool, and always remember that having loads of fun is equal to happiness.
P.S. Yesterday is Bonifacio Day, that’s why we didn’t have classes on that day. :D
