It’s been a week since that day happened—and this event is more boring than last year. Don’t get me wrong—my friends from upper batches (most likely, orgmates) thought that the previous CFAD week celebrations were way better than that. Still, I enjoyed being with my friends no matter what—even just in the form of taking part in our face painting maid café activity (not to mention, Nixie, Jin, and I had our P.E. orientation at the gym). HAHAHA. Anyways, I’m going to post a photo of me, together with Pyrah and Danielle, having a blast with my face paint (thanks to Sam and Ivan’s blockie Melissa—I liked the geisha look despite my rugged chic!).

Okay, let’s get into what happened before the CFAD day. That morning, my 1ad-1 pals were planning on what anime/game characters to cosplay, and because I wanted to wear skirts for my uniform (fact: the last time I wore skirts was during the second semester of my freshman year), I tried on Jin’s skirt for her Lolita outfit.
Wala lang. Just for kicks!

Then the day after the CFAD day blues, a member of 1ad-1 (sorry dudes, I forgot her name) brought an elusive pedo-bear hat to bring it back to Lora. While waiting for her, Nixie, Rei, Halle, and I tried it on just for fun. Here’s my shots:

Speaking of my subjects, I’m doing okay. I’ve got to meet my new professors like Sir Ducat (gra2; he teaches painting subjects while carving a commissioned project), Ma’am Calubayan (NS202), Ma’am Ronidel (HAr2), and Sir Fiedacan (scl3). And when it comes to irregular classmates, I’ve got to meet a lot of them—fifteen, at least (including my old buds Kuya Roy, Vincent, and Ate Ken). Not to mention, there’s a new set of architecture classmates from lit102a class. (They’re Cliff and Raniel [pronounced as
RAIN-iel], both architecture juniors [actually, they’re in fourth year].) But don’t worry—I won’t forget having Kuya Bryan and Ate Anna as my NS102 mateys last semester…for these dudes are my first classmates from another college. Because of this, I’ll just wish them the best of luck with their theses and graduation requirements. :D
‘Guess this is the end of my entry for today. Before I call it a day, I’d like to share to you some lines from Owl City’s “Fireflies”:
“I’d like to make myself believe that planet Earth turns slowly.
It’s hard to say I’d rather stay awake than fall asleep,
‘Cause everything is never as it seems.”P.S. Today’s birthday greetings are dedicated to my blockmate An, my high school classmate GeeGee, my orgmates Rei and Pilar, and all those who celebrate their birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
