random blah-blah.

Tonight, I watched Cinderella’s Stepsister on KBS World for no reason at all. In fact, I had to wait for 9:30pm so that I could catch an episode of Maid Sama! But then again…so many thoughts are running inside my head.
Last week, we’ve witnessed the national elections. Although I’m already in my legal age (19 to be exact), I didn’t vote. Still, I silently hoped that Gibo Teodoro would get the presidential seat. But in the end, it was Noynoy Aquino who got the highest number of votes. No matter what, I admired Gibo’s determination to run for president, and it was good to know that he humbly accepted his loss. (Speaking of which, a Twitter user said that she’ll just respect the newly elected president if ever Gibo didn’t win the elections. I kind of agree with that, anyway.)
Then, there’s the Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash of 2010. I just noticed that the teen-ternational housemates were much more likeable than our very own Filipino teens in the villa. (Not to mention, I liked to see more of Korean housemate Ryan’s antics. HAHAHAHA.) Anyways, I’ll just make some of my reactions of each housemate group. Here goes:
VILLA HOUSEMATES/PINOY TEENS: So almost everyone from the villa has a bad habit of backstabbing their co-housemates, especially Tricia. If I were to be honest, I never liked their attitude at all. They are such two-faced creatures who like to make fun out of somebody’s faults so that they could get what they wanted. (No wonder, a lot of PBB viewers like to see Tricia win the title. Kung sa bagay, siya ang pinakakawawang Pinoy housemate.)
APARTMENT HOUSEMATES/INTERNATIONAL TEENS: They may be of different cultures, but they really knew how to adapt to the environment. They are frank with their co-housemates—especially when they have problems. So I can say that these guys know how to deal with each other’s attitudes, bad habits, and whatnot. After all, we are all unique—so we have to respect each other despite the differences.
Well…these are just my opinions. It’s up to you if you want to make reactions out of these.
Speaking of which, I know how Tricia felt. In the Big Brother House, she was the center of gossip. People say that she’s a real bitch just because of her actions. But there are also times that I see myself in her. I was considered a nerd (and at some point, an outcast) in my class—and since I wasn’t that accepted by my peers there, I choose to reach out to the irregular classmates, orgmates, and—gasp—strangers! Not to mention, I used to exhibit temper tantrums in front of them—which most people find them irritating, of course. But somehow, even though I tried to please everybody through all these, I end up acting like I was the worst person in the whole planet.
I don’t think the Tricia Santos fiasco is an invitation to dump. I guess what I am trying to say is that even though she’s not as likeable as everybody else, she deserves the title. Ang totoo nga, mas masama pa ang mga ugali ng mga kasama niyang Pinoy housemates just because they stab her at the back to get what they want.
Anyways, let’s move on. American Idol is about to end its 10th (or 9th?) season this coming week, so they already have Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze for the final round. These guys are both talented singers, but one of them should get the title. (Wonder who could that be…?)
Okay, it’s already past twelve in the midnight, so I have to stop right now. Goodnighty!
P.S. Sorry about my feedback regarding Tricia’s attitude. It’s just that I remembered a text quote from a good friend of mine, telling me not to mention that I knew how she felt, for we don’t exactly share the same experiences in life. Anyways…never mind.
